Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS) Pilani has published the online application forms for Birla Institute of Technology & Science Admission Test (BITSAT) Computer Based Online Test to taking admission to Integrated Degree Programmes 2014-15 at BITS Campus in Pilani, Goa & Hyderabad on its official website. Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS), Pilani a leading Institute of Higher Education and a deemed University under section 3 of the UGC act offers degree programmes in Engineering, Sciences, Technology, Pharmacy, Management and Humanities. This web site describes the admission modalities for the on-campus degree progarmmes  offered at Pilani campus, Goa Campus and Hyderabad Campus.

It is a 3 hour test, offered to candidates on computers at dedicated centers in different cities in India and at the Dubai Campus. The test will have objective type (multiple choices) questions only. The test will be conducted between 14th May – 1st June 2014.

BITSAT 2014 is a Computer Based Online Entrance Examination for those candidates who want to starts a career in Medical & Engineering Fields.

Educational Qualifications: For admission to any of the above Integrated First Degree programmes Candidates should have passed the 12^th examination of 10+2 system from a recognized Central or State board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Further the candidate should have obtained a minimum of aggregate 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects in 12^th examination, with at least 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects and should have adequate proficiency in English.

BITSAT 2014 Selection Process : The selection of the aspirants on the basis of the performance in BITSAT 2014 Test and Class 12th Percentage.

For Female Students : Rs. 1400/-

NEST 2014-15 Online Application Forms & Registration Starts Here At nestexam.in

National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar & University of Mumbai, Department of Atomic Energy, Center for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE CBS), Mumbai has published Online Applications Forms For appearing in National Entrance Screening Test (NEST 2014) to taking Admission into the 5 years Integrated M.Sc programme in basic sciences on - Biology, Chemistry, mathematics & Physics on its official website. Interested & eligible candidates those who want to fill their NEST 2014 Application forms, they can kindly apply online as on or before 03 March 2014. NEST 2014 Entrance Examination will be held on 31-05-2014 (Saturday) 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM on the various examination centers across India. NEST 2014 Exam will be held in 45 centres across India. Age Limit : For General and OBC Category Candidates, they should be born as on or after 22nd July, 1994. The age relaxation for SC /ST /PHD Candidates are 5 years.

Educational Qualifications : Candidates seeking admission to NISER and UM-DAE CBS for the academic session 2014-15 should be from science stream (having any combination of Biology/ Chemistry/ Mathematics/ Physics) at class XII and must write the NEST 2014 examination. Candidates who have passed class XII examination or equivalent from any recognised Board in India in 2012 or 2013 or are appearing in 2014 can appear in NEST 2014 examination. Admission will be offered strictly on the basis of Merit List of NEST 2014. Candidates securing at least 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade in class XII examination will be eligible for admission to NISER and CBS. However, there is no restriction for appearing for NEST.

Application Fee : Application fee will be paid by Demand Draft (DD) for required amount may be made from any bank and should be drawn in favour of NISER NEST and payable at Bhubaneswar. The application fee are given below:

For General & OBC Category Candidates :  Rs. 700/-
For SC/ST/PD Category Candidates : Rs. 350/-

How To Apply : To apply for NEST 2014, candidates can fill-up application form either online (preferable) or offline. Details of on-line and off-line applications are given in a separate sheet. Off-line application is to be filled on a prescribed form. The form along with this brochure will be mailed to the candidate on request. The request for the application form must reach the NEST office on or before February 20, 2014. Please note that photocopies of prescribed form should not be used for filling off-line applications. Such applications will summarily be rejected.
