Age Limit :
For Medical Officer Posts : Max age is 32 years.
For Remaining All Other Posts : Max age is 30 years.
Educational Qualifications : Educational qualification for each & every posts are different, so kindly check them follows:
  • For Boiler Operation Engineer Posts : 4 year B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc. Engineering in Mechanical/Electrical discipline with minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST candidates). The candidate must possess Boiler Engineer‟s Certificate (1st Class Proficiency) issued by the State Boiler Authorities.
  • For Medical Officer (grade A) Posts : MD/MS in various Discipline. Candidates must have 2 years of relevant experience in the respective areas of specialization.
  • For Quality Control Officer Posts : Ph.D in Chemistry from a recognized Indian University/institute with minimum 60% marks in Graduation & Post Graduation Level.
  • For Human Resource Officer (Grade A) Posts : 2 year full time regular post graduate Diploma/Master Degree in Human Resource / Personnel Management & Industrial Relations/ Social Work or equivalent qualification from a recognized Indian Institute / University with minimum 60% marks.
  • For Assistant Officer Posts : Regular full time BE / B.Tech. degree in Chemical, Civil, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering with min 65 % marks or equivalent grade from a recognized Indian University / Institute (55% for SC / ST candidates) and one year one year full time diploma in Industrial Safety from one of the Central / Regional Labour Institutes.
  • For Assistant Hindi Officer Posts : First Class M.A in Hindi with English as subject at Graduation Level or First Class Master‟s Degree in English.

Selection Process :  The selection process for the posts of Quality Control Officers, Human Resource Officers, Assistant Officers (Health, Safety & Environment) & Assistant Hindi Officers will comprise Written Test (objective type consisting of two parts - General Aptitude and Discipline Knowledge) , Group Discussion/Group Task and Personal Interview. Candidates will have to qualify through each stage of selection process successfully before being adjudged as suitable for selection. 
The candidates should secure minimum 40% qualifying marks (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates) in each stage i.e. Written Test, GD/GT/Personal Interview, wherever applicable, for consideration of next stage of selection process and finally adjudged suitable for selection. Securing the minimum qualifying marks does not confer any right or claim by the candidates for consideration for next stage of selection process/final selection, as the same is related to number of positions & relative composite merit applicable for each categories. The Selection process for the posts of Boiler Operation Engineers & Medical Officers will comprise Personal Interviews only.
Pay Scale :
For Officers Selected for Grade A Positions : Rs. 10.50 Lakh P.A.
For Assistant Officers selected for Grade A0 Positions : Rs. 8.00 Lakh P.A.

For SC/ST/PWD Category Candidates : No Need To Pay Application Fees.

ICHR JRF Recruitment 2014 - Indian Council of Historical Research Jobs

Indian Council of Historical Research (ICHR), New Delhi inviting online applications for the various 80 posts of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) Recruitment 2014 on its official website. Interested candidates those who want to starts a career with ICHR Jobs Recruitment 2014, they can kindly apply online as on or before 15 January 2014. Indian Council of Historical Research (ICHR) Conducting the Written Examination for the selection of candidates and the written exam will be held on 16 February 2014 at New Delhi, Bengaluru and Guwahati Centers. The other details are as follows: 
Name of The Posts : Junior Research Fellowship (JRF)
Total Number of Posts : 80 Posts
Educational Qualifications : Only candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s Degree OR equivalent examination from universities / institutions recognized by the UGC in History/Archaeology/Museology are eligible for this fellowship. The candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/Physically challenged category who have secured at least 50% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s degree or equivalent examination are eligible for this fellowship.

Candidates who are admitted to a Ph.D programme can apply for the ICHR Junior Research Fellowship (Junior Fellowship). The grant to the selected candidates would be available only upon their registration for a Ph.D degree.
Pay Scale : Rs.16000/- P.M with a contingency grant of Rs. 15000/ P.A.
Application Fee : An application fee of Rs. 200/- (Rupees two hundred only) shall be paid in the form of a Demand Draft drawn in favour of the Deputy Director (Accounts) ICHR, payable at Delhi.(Candidates belonging to SC/ST/Physically Challenged category are exempted from payment of the fee). Second class railway or bus fare chargeable by the shortest routes from Railway Station / Bus Stand nearest to their normal place of residence or from where they actually perform the journey, whichever is nearer to the place of examination, will be reimbursed to SC/ST candidates on production of ticket(s), provided the distance traveled is not less than 30 kms.)
How To Apply : Eligible and interested scholars may apply on-line through the ICHR website and submit the hard copy of the online application (containing an auto generated number) duly signed along with prescribed application fee, self attested copies of the certificates of educational qualifications, date of birth, experience and signed copy of check list etc. by post to the Member Secretary, Indian Council of Historical Research, 35 Ferozeshah Road, New Delhi – 110001. 
The last date for online form submission is 15 January 2014 and last date for submitting the printouts along with self attested documents is 25 January 2014.
